Hello All. I am from the class of 73. I see some names that bring back some memories..From my best friend, Bob Zielinski, to Mark Fittery, who was three years ahead of me at St Stephens and Roman....I have a great story. I was at Roman's day at the bay on August 5th, when a guy approched me and ask if my name was Pat Smith. I said yes and he said that he graduated with me from St. Stephens. His name is Bob Argeros... It was good to see you Bob. He may be at the renunion.... I wish I had his memory.... I will be at the renuion, and looking forward to getting reacquainted with old friends and making new ones. And for those who graduated in the later seventies, my aunt is St Regina Maureen

Hi all! Class of 61, my brother and sister Jack and Ruth also went to sss. We lived on the 3900 block of Delhi St. Jack and myself both paid and will be there, he's in upstate PA. Thanks Diana. Does anyone else have flashbacks when they see rulers or erasers? They were surely the best years of my life.

Hello to all,

I found out about the reunion from Dave Gospodarek. If anyone from our class remembers, if you saw Dave, I was nearby and vice-a-versa. We were inseparable. I enjoy a ton of great memories of St Stephen's. As far as me, I survived and retired from the US Marine Corps in 2004 after 30 years of service. I am now employed at the US Environmental Protection Agency and I enjoy my job.

Hopefully, there will be a nice representation from our class and I will have the opportunity to speak about old times and where life has taken us to date.

See you at the reunion. Yes, Dave & I will probably be coming together like the good old days.

Al Pinero

It’s great to see so many familiar names, not just from St. Stephens but from the old neighborhood. We lived on the 3800 block of Percy Street, Michael, Mary Beth and I all went to SSS and Mom and Dad were active in the parish. Some of the names I see here were legends in my house… Jimmy Cooney, McGill, Slemmer, Lupinacci, Connell, and Kirk to name a few all lifelong friends to my brother and my parents. Hey guys Mom and Dad always loved that you guys came around after you were “all grown up”. Great to see so many names from the old neighborhood (10th st, Delhi st , Percy st., 9th st.) it was a great place to grow up. SSS was a special place and time, there was always the feeling of family and community even as times and our lives changed that feeling was something you could count on.While the times are gone (but never forgotten) the true spirit lives on in the hearts and souls of the people that were a part of that parish. Its obvious from this reunion and the postings here that which was most important about SSS was the people……..let start seeing more from the Class of 70!!!! Mark Fittery great to see your message , I wont be at the reunion but remember the Sullivan’s from Percy Street. While there are few of us left we all never forgot Saint Stephen’s ! Feel free to email me!!!

I can't believe all the people from my class are here. The 10th Year Reunion was great, but I am in AZ now, so I guess I'll miss out. If anyone knows where Donna Klein (Jeffries) is let me know. Most of my family is in PA. I have 5 children, 8 grandkids. Live with my son, and raising a grandson he is 8 years olds and he says he is with me to keep me young, and he does trying to keep up with him. I work at the University of Arizona (Go Wildcats)

Hey Bobby Gavin, found this site by accident. Boy, did your post bring back some memories. I just got off the phone with Pat Keogh and she told me about the SSS website and I found the guest book instead. I have yet to go onto the actual SSS website yet since I have been too busy ready all of the posts. We moved to SC 7 years ago after retiring (my husband from the Fed and me from UPENN) but we come up to the Philly area several times a year to visit our children/grandchildren. I do speak with Joe Brown several times a year and he usually brings me up to date on things. I am coming up for the LF 50 reunion in Oct. and hopefully will make the SSS reunion also. You put a smile on my face.

When I saw the class pic of the 7th grade class, I named every one there. Terrance Banks called me about the site. I remember have to stand aginst the wall for running in the school yard, but the one that standss out is when I threw Robin Williams into the classroom, he made a comment about my mother who worked in the libary at the time. A little trivia: Fish = Sister?
